Non-polarization Beamsplitter cube (NPBS)
Non-polarization Beamsplitter cube (NPBS)
MOK Optics offers high-precision non-polarizing cube beamsplitters, specifically designed for a variety of spectral ranges including Visible (400 – 700 nm), Near-Infrared (NIR: 700 – 1100 nm), and Infrared (IR: 1100 – 1600 nm) light. These beamsplitters are available in split ratios of 50:50, 30:70, and 20:80, providing versatile and reliable solutions for diverse optical applications.
Narrow Band Non-Polarizing Beamsplitter Cube
- Average Transmission/Reflection Ratio (Tavg/Ravg): 50% / 50% ±5%
- Transmission Difference (|Tp-Ts|): Less than 5%
- Reflection Difference (|Rp-Rs|): Less than 5%
- Anti-Reflective Coating (AR): Reflectance less than 0.25% per face on all four faces
These beamsplitter cubes are meticulously crafted from N-BK7 glass, a material known for its excellent optical properties. Each cube is engineered to minimize beam offset, ensuring high accuracy in optical paths. The design incorporates a dielectric beamsplitter coating applied to the hypotenuse of one of the prisms, which is then precisely cemented to a second prism to form the cube.
To enhance usability, each cube is marked with directional arrows that indicate the correct orientation for the incident beam relative to the beamsplitter coating. This marking ensures that optimal performance is achieved by guiding users on the appropriate entry point for light. While the cube allows light entry through any of its AR-coated surfaces, the specified performance metrics are guaranteed when the light first contacts the surface with the beamsplitter coating.
MOK Optics’ non-polarizing cube beamsplitters are designed for applications where precision and stability are paramount, providing high-quality performance in a compact and durable form factor. These components are ideal for use in complex optical systems requiring exact light management with minimal distortion and reflection artifacts.
