Dichroic Mirror
Dichroic Mirror
This product is a dichroic mirror specially designed for selective transmission and reflection of different wavelengths of light, with the following detailed optical performance parameters:
Transmittance Tavg > 95%@ 420-590 nm
In the visible spectrum range from 420 nm to 590 nm, the average transmittance of the dichroic mirror is higher than 95%. This means that the light in this band can be almost completely transmitted through the mirror, which is suitable for optical applications that require high transmittance, such as fluorescence microscopy or optical sensors.
Transmittance T = 50%@ 600 nm
At a wavelength of 600 nm, the transmittance is 50%. At this wavelength point, light is partially transmitted and partially reflected by the dichroic mirror, which is very important for specific spectral separation applications.
Transmittance Tavg < 1%@ 610-700 nm
In the spectral range from 610 nm to 700 nm, the average transmittance of the dichroic mirror is less than 1%, almost completely blocking light of these wavelengths. This property enables the mirror to effectively filter out long-wavelength red light, reduce background noise, and thus improve the signal-to-noise ratio of the system.
Product application areas
Fluorescence microscope
The mirror can be used to accurately separate the emission light and excitation light of different fluorescent dyes to ensure imaging quality.
Laser system
It can separate and selectively transmit light in multiple bands, suitable for laser splitting, combination and beam splitting.
Optical filtering
When precise control of specific wavelengths is required, the dichroic mirror can play a key filtering role, such as filter combination systems.
The optical properties of the dichroic mirror make it an indispensable component in many high-precision optical instruments, especially in applications where selective control of light in different bands is required.
