The main function of a polarization beamsplitter is to separate incident unpolarized light into two perpendicular linear polarized beams. MOK Optics’ high power polarization beamsplitters are made of high quality glass material and use a precision dielectric beam splitter film to achieve polarization beam splitting. The P polarized light in the incident light is completely transmitted, while the S polarized light is reflected at a 45 degree angle, thus forming a 90 degree angle with the outgoing direction of the P polarized light. These polarization beamsplitters are made of a pair of high precision right angle prisms glued together, one of which has a polarization beam splitter dielectric film on the hypotenuse to ensure efficient beam splitting performance.
